By using GoodStanding, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What GoodStanding provides
GoodStanding presents public nursing home information, including records from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, in a more readable format. We may also offer paid email monitoring for selected facilities.
Not medical, legal, or referral advice
GoodStanding is an informational service. It is not affiliated with CMS or any government agency, is not a nursing home referral service, and does not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Do not rely on the service as the sole basis for care or placement decisions.
Public data and accuracy
Facility records come from third-party public sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Plain-English summaries are provided for convenience and may omit detail. Review the underlying official records and contact the facility or relevant agency before making important decisions.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid monitoring plans are billed at the price and interval shown at checkout. Your subscription continues until canceled. You may cancel using the link included in monitoring emails; cancellation stops future charges but does not ordinarily refund charges already processed, except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You may use the service only for lawful, personal, or internal business purposes. You may not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape at a volume that disrupts operations, impersonate another person, or use the service to violate another person’s rights.
Intellectual property
Public government records remain subject to their applicable terms. GoodStanding’s design, software, summaries, and original content are owned by GoodStanding or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed except as allowed by law.
Service changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. We may also update these terms, with the revised date shown above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoodStanding will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
