GoodStanding helps people understand public nursing home inspection information. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

If you purchase facility monitoring, we may receive your email address, selected facility, plan, payment status, and related transaction details. Payment card information is handled by our payment processor and is not stored by GoodStanding. If you request a sample update email, we receive your email address and the facility you selected so we can send the sample and, if you choose, begin monitoring; you can unsubscribe from any email in one click. If you contact us, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the service, standard technical information may be collected, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use information to deliver requested reports and monitoring emails, process subscriptions, respond to messages, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and understand how the service is used. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, such as payment, email delivery, hosting, and analytics providers. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the service, such as which pages are viewed and how people navigate the site. We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including legal and accounting requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may unsubscribe from monitoring emails using the link included in each email. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, subject to applicable law.

Children

GoodStanding is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
